SACC Washington DC: |
As of August 15, 2007 SACC Washington DC has a new Office Manager. Maja Persson started her career as an Information Officer at International IDEA (Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance) in
Stockholm in 1996. In 1999 she moved to Nicaragua where she worked at the European-Latin American Chamber of Commerce for two years. In Washington DC she has worked with media outreach for the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Human Rights and as a consultant for the Embassy of Sweden in connection with their Water and Environment program in the House of Sweden. Maja moved to Washington DC in 2003 and lives here with her husband and two daughters.
Previous Office Manager, Eva Ohlin, has after four years with SACC DC, moved to the 3rd floor of House of Sweden where she works as an analyst for the Swedish Institute for Growth Policy Studies. |
