is a pleasure to welcome you to the SACC Washington DC homepage
and the "Capital Chapter" of the Swedish-American
Chamber of Commerce of the United States. Founded in 1989,
SACC Washington DC enjoys the exciting advantage of being
on the scene in the world’s premiere policy-making arena for
international trade and business.

The
greater Washington DC area has emerged as one of the fastest
growing US science and technology centers, especially in the
IT and telecom sectors. Major US defense companies and
companies in the aviation and aerospace sectors also have
their US headquarters here.
Many
large established Swedish enterprises have a presence in
Washington DC, and the area has become a business-friendly
launching pad for new Swedish IT, biotech and other firms
entering the US market.
Our
goal at SACC Washington DC is to be at the center of the
network – where the US and Sweden, policy and technology,
large and small companies, and government and business all
meet. We are all about networking.
